Maplewood is surrounded by the forest with peaceful serenity, but is a quick walk down to the lake for amazing sunset views. It’s the ideal stay with something for everyone in your group, with heated pool, boat rentals, fishing, or relaxing. We are also only a short distance from many popular sites.

◆◆ BEDROOMS + BATHROOMS ◆◆

Each of the cottage’s bedrooms is designed with guest comfort in mind. Fall asleep beneath soft linens and wake up refreshed for another exciting (or relaxing!) day at the lake.

The first floor has two seperate queen bedrooms and one bedroom upstairs with 4 twin beds, comfortably sleeps 8

The full bathroom located on the first floor has a tub/shower unit, toilet, and vanity. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, with plush towels for your convenience, relaxation, and comfort.

◆◆ KITCHEN & DINING & LIVING ROOM ◆◆

The open-concept main level of the home has forest views. The living room has comfy seating and a smart TV. The kitchen is outfitted with all the cookware, dishes, utensils, and appliances you will need to cook delicious meals. We also provide complementary oil, salt, pepper, and a few other basic spices. And for the coffee maker, we provide coffee filters and a couple days’ supply of coffee.

There is seating for 8 at the dining table inside and a large picnic table on the covered patio for outdoor dining.

The Smart TV has all the streaming apps, such as Roku, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, etc. (There are NO LOCAL CHANNELS) You are able to log into your accounts on the TV.

◆◆ OUTDOORS ◆◆

While there are plenty of outdoor activities nearby, the cottage also provides its' own outdoor sanctuary for guests to enjoy. We invite you to enjoy the lake air from the back of the cottage or settle in for a quiet evening by the fire-pit, perfect for s’mores in the evening. There are plenty of seating areas for guests to eat outside, sip morning coffee, or enjoy a happy hour drink as the sun goes down.

Enjoy exploring our beautiful resort. Take a dip in the heated pool or lounge under an umbrella poolside. Cruise our wooded trails and find the fairy village or challenge your family and friends to a fun game of basketball, volleyball, or shuffleboard. Explore the open waters with a pontoon or fishing boat rental, take out a free kayak, or drop a line in and fish right of the docks. And if your fishing is fruitful, we have a fish cleaning station to clean your catch for a fresh fish dinner!

◆◆ PARKING ◆◆
Parking for 3 vehicles next to the cottage. We have plenty of overflow parking for extra vehicles or boat trailers near the office and near the fence across from the pool. Please let us know if you need extra parking and we will help you.

◆◆ CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT ◆◆
Check In is any time after 4pm and Check Out is 10am or earlier.
No early check-ins please, as we need to ensure everything is completely cleaned for your arrival.
The cottage has a wireless keypad, so you can check yourself in. You also won’t have to worry about losing a key!

◆◆ RULES ◆◆

OCCUPANTS: Cottage should only be occupied by max capacity as stated on the web site, unless prior approval by Owner.

PARTIES: No parties or large gatherings without prior approval by Owner.

DAMAGES: Breakages We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything, please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen) we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you!

PETS: Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed to stay for a $100 per dog fee. No other pets allowed besides dogs. So sorry, but our insurance doesn't allow Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, or Dobermans. To protect our guests with allergies, some of our cottages do not allow dogs, so please do not allow your dogs into those cottages.

SMOKING OR VAPING: Smoking or Vaping is strictly prohibited inside the Property. Smoking or Vaping is only allowed “outside” and around your own Rental Cottage and not in any common areas, such as the playground, pool, boat house, boat docks, etc.

WEAPONS AND FIREWORKS: No Guest shall use, or permit any occupant, guest, or member of his or her family to use any firearms, air rifles, bows and arrows, knives, explosives, fireworks or other similar dangerous weapons, projectiles or devices anywhere on or about the Premises or Common Area.

FIRES AND GRILL: No open fires are allowed in anything other than designated firepits, grills, or inside fireplace (if applicable). The grill must remain in an open area, away from trees, house, etc. All fires must be thoroughly extinguished before leaving the Property or going to bed.

QUIET TIME: We ask that you be kind and respectful to the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum specifically during quiet hours 10pm-7am.

POOL and LAKE: Follow all posted rules and guidelines. Do not leave children unattended near these areas.
Any violation of these rules will be grounds for expedited eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid

◆◆ CANCELLATION POLICY ◆◆

30 Days Prior: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation.

14 Days Prior: Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
